Network Marketing Leaders! Do NOT bully your downline ever and here’s why:

Now this particular post is not about every Network Marketing Leader out there, of course not! But it is for those of you who due to let’s just say…a really big ego, find it necessary not to treat the people in your your organizations with as much respect as they really deserve. Believe me, I’ve seen it and I have experienced it.

Continuing on…

1. To get respect, you have to give respect. It just makes sense.
2. You are in the business of building relationships with your team, not destroying relationships with your team….ever heard of attrition? Yes people DO leave companies due to being mistreated by their upline leaders.
3. Never think that you are better than anybody else, you are an imperfect human being too. People want to learn from you, not dislike you.
4. Always have an attitude of gratitude. Without an attitude of gratitude your business partners will feel just like a number, emptying their pockets just to fill yours. That ain’t cool. They need to feel like they are an important part of your team.

I could go on and on but I think you get my drift. Listen, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being confident and having the posture to go with it. We all know this is business, we all know that we must work with the action takers and not the excuse makers. A humble and grateful leader though, sincerely cares about the people in their organizations. Humble and grateful leaders do not bully their people by being “know it all” dictators, or by beating them down with words on the phone, in person, online or on conference calls. That is just not cool and if you do this, you will regret it in the end.

Please treat people the way you wish to be treated. Genuinely show that you care and are there to help them succeed. Oh, and be sure to thank them for being a part of your team from time to time, after all, they are all a part of your success story. Believe me, it works!

Always remember too, people do business with people they know, LIKE and TRUST. If you keep acting up, they will wish they never knew you, liked you OR trusted you. So be cool and behave yourself!
